Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the free temporary email service operated at mytemp-mail.online and mytemp-mail.online (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What the Service is
Offex Mail provides disposable, temporary email inboxes. Inboxes are created instantly without an account, run on our own domain, and expire automatically after a short period. The Service is offered free of charge and is funded in part by advertising.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not use Offex Mail to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation, or help anyone else do so.
- Send, receive or distribute spam, bulk unsolicited mail, or chain messages.
- Harass, threaten, defame, stalk or abuse any person.
- Commit fraud, or impersonate any person, brand or organisation in a misleading way.
- Register for accounts in a way that violates the terms of the service you are signing up to.
- Distribute malware, phishing content, or any material that is illegal or harmful.
- Attempt to breach, overload, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated means to create excessive numbers of inboxes or to abuse resources.
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
Public by address — not for sensitive data
Important: a temporary inbox is readable by anyone who knows its address. Do not use Offex Mail for confidential or sensitive information of any kind, including banking and financial accounts, medical or health records, government or identity services, legal matters, or any account you cannot afford to lose.
You are responsible for what you choose to receive through a disposable address. We are not liable for any loss arising from information exposed because a temporary address was shared, guessed or observed.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any message will be delivered, retained or readable.
No guarantee of delivery, uptime or storage
Disposable email is inherently best-effort. We do not guarantee that any message will arrive, that it will be delivered before an inbox expires, or that the Service will be available at any particular time. Inboxes and their contents may be deleted at any time, including without notice, and messages are not intended for long-term storage. Always keep your own copy of anything important.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its name, logo, design, text, layout and code, is owned by or licensed to Offex Mail and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with our written permission. Third-party names and logos that appear on the site remain the property of their respective owners.
Third-party content and links
The Service may link to, or display advertising from, third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Offex Mail and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, messages, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it, which is zero. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination
We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. We may also restrict or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms the Service or others.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is posted, and the “last updated” date will change. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections, the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
